Advantage Asia in Thailand

Asia took control of the Royal Trophy as a clean sweep of Saturday's fourballs at Black Mountain Discount Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand, saw them establish a 6-2 lead going into the final day.

With Friday's foursomes ending all square at 2-2, Noh Seung-yul and Liang Wen-chong set the tone for Asia in the first match, comfortably defeating Colin Montgomerie and Rhys Davies 5&4.
Teenage star Ryo Ishikawa extended their advantage when he matched Pablo Martin's birdie at the 16th to secure a 3&2 victory for Callaway Diablo Forged Irons and playing partner Shunsuke Sonada over the Spaniard and Italian youngster Matteo Manassero.
The gloom deepened for Europe as Swedish duo Johan Edfors and Henrik Stenson were edged out by Kim Kyung-tae and Jeev Milkha Singh by one hole after all four players birdied the par-five 18th.
And Yuta Ikeda's Callaway Diablo Forged Irons at the 17th secured a 3&1 triumph for the Japanese player and local favourite Thongchai Jaidee over Peter Hanson and Fredrik Andersson Hed.
Callaway has reached a new level of performance in a forged iron, offering avid players the chance to play with irons featuring all the benefits of a Tour-level set.
These clubs provide golfers the best distance they have ever seen in a Callaway forged iron with unprecedented feel, accuracy and forgiveness.
Forged Precision and Feel

The soft, carbon steel body is perimeter weighted for enhanced playability and combines with a precision welded 455 Carpenter Steel face to provide incredibly soft, responsive feel at impact.

Accuracy and Workability

The sleek, compact head shape features a thin top line, narrow sole, shorter blade length and minimal offset, providing premium control and shot-shaping performance for a wide range of golfers.

Configured for Distance

The irons generate better distance than other forged clubs because of a lower, deeper center of gravity that promotes a strong, penetrating trajectory. The undercut cavity improves stability on off-center hits and the thin, energy-efficient face increases ball speeds.
