More than ten thousands of Asian Games volunteers gather in the University Library square on the main campus for service swearing ceremony on the afternoon of April 24. Officials from Provincial Educational Department, Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, Athens Olympic Champion Hu Jia, and university leaders attend the ceremony.

The 16th Asian Games is to be held from November 12 – to 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, and more than 45 countries are to participate in 42 sports.
