2010-06-23, Olympic Council of Asia Media Committee Chairman Manuel Silverio is the latest guest on the Asian Games Live! talk show on Radio Guangdong. Programme host Jeff Ruffolo, a three-time Summer Olympics Sportscaster for Westwood One Radio in the United States, travelled to Macau to interview the OCA Media Committee chief for an upcoming edition.
Mr Silverio outlined the plans to host up to 10,000 media at the 16th Asian Games, which run from November 12-27 in the "Flower City" of Guangzhou, and the media services to be provided.
He also said he was looking forward to the 2nd World Press Briefing in Guangzhou from July 20-23, as it was the last opportunity for media representatives and GAGOC officials to discuss their needs and policies and procedures in covering the 42 sports.
