Pakistan baseball team prepares for Asian Games

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's baseball team got its preparation for the 16th Asian Games underway with a training camp at the Pakistan Sports Complex (PSC) with all prospective players from the national tournaments attending. The Asian Games are slated for begin November 12-17 in Guangzhou, China.
“We have got a lot of expectations from our boys and I believe we will return with medals from the Asian Games,” Khawar Shah, Secretary, Pakistan Federation Baseball told APP on Wednesday.
“We will select our final team for the Asian Games after observing the performance of the players in the training camp,” he said.
Squad for the training camp: Mohammad Imtaiz, Sarfraz Ahmed, Ehsan Ullah, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Farooq, Zafar Iqbal, Mohammad Aseef, Zaheer Ahmed, Usman Azam, Salim Hyder, Dura Hussain, Musadaq Hanif, Hafiz Usman, Umair Bhatti, Mohammad Zubair, Irshad Ali, Tusif ahmed and Sumair Zawal.
