Ahmadinejad Likely to Attend Asian Games

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will likely attend the Asian Games due to be held in China in December, an official announced.

Head of Physical Education Organization Ali Saeedlou said on Wednesday that planning has been made for Ahmadinejad to possibly attend Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. He noted that the president's presence will promote the spirits of the athletes. Some 185 Iranian athletes will compete at Asian Paralympic Games 2010 in Guangzhou, China. This is the first ever edition of the Asian Paralympic Games, designed to highlight the achievements of the disabled community within the Asian sporting world. The event will be inaugurated on December 12 and will continue for eight days
